Among the scientific activities of the Department of Animal Production Techniques, the students’ projects has been discussed by the scientific committee at TCA. The scientific committee led by Prof. Dr. Qusay Zaki Sams Al-Dain and consisted from Associated Prof. Dr. Isam Al-Layla and AP. Dr. Imad Ismail. In addition, the head of the Department of Animal Production, Dr. Abd Al-Bar Al-Farha, also attended the discussions providing his feedback to the presenters. The discussion is one of the requirements to fulfill the Bachelor of Technical Agriculture. Topics of some of theses projects included: effects of formaldehyde treated feed on milk production; Effect of sodium bicarbonate additives on some milk characteristics; and Economic evaluation for broilers breeding in Iraq; A study on decreasing the dry period in dairy cattle.
