Aims of the Department of plant Production Techniques

Preparing a technical staff who are experts in plant biotechnology, plant breeding and improvement, horticultural and field crops production, and protecting from plant diseases. The Department of Plant Production Techniques aims to preparing graduates to be able to work at the main sectors of plant biological techniques as follows:

1. Genetic engineering programs to improve plant production.
2. Horticultural and field crops production projects.
3. Beekeeping projects.
4. Agricultural projects and fields management.
5. Working at laboratories of seed checksum and verification; and grain qualitative laboratories.
6. Use the greenhouses and tunnels for green crops production.
7. Working at plant nurseries and cultivation of ornamental plants
