  1. Key qualifications:

Dr. Alkaisy is Assistant Prof. Since 1996 at Foundation of Technical Education / Mosul Technical Institute at Mosul/IRAQ. He has been awarded his M.Sc. in soil physics  in 1984 from Salah-AL-Deen  University  and Ph.D. in soil physics /modelling  in 2000 from Mosul University, IRAQ.

Dr. Alkaisy is an expert on modelling of water and solute flow through porous media

By programming with Fortran or with GUI programs like HYDRUS -1D  , his main concern is modelling water infiltration, evaporation, evapotranspiration  and salt movement through different soil types, especially in arid areas. He is capable of simulating  of crop production with or without drought, salinity effects  and other growth factors by using AquaCrop software.

Currently, Dr. Alkaisy  giving a training course to agricultural offices members of mosul governorate  at the following subjects (Using Aqucrop for simulation of field crops parameters under Iraqi environment) , (Using HYDRUS-1D in designing and management of modern irrigation methods) .

Dr. Alkaisy have been supervisor of graduate student (Phd) form  2010 for Civil and Agricultural engineering students.

Dr.  Alkaisy         Teaching the following courses for undergraduate student ( Agricultural IT database and GIS), Database  Design and management with ORACLE , and  the following courses for graduate student (Modelling, Flow through Pours Media ).

Dr.  Alkaisy          were a member of about 30 of students exams committees for PhDs and Mscs thesis.
