Design and implementation of a wind tunnel to be used in carrying out practical experiments in wind erosion materials and desertification control
With the support of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Professor Dr. Shehab Ahmed Al-Bajari,
A.M.D. Essam Mahmoud Mohamed/ Head of Desertification Control Technologies Department designed and implemented a wind tunnel from the local market due to the high cost of the importer.
The purpose of its use:
To implement practical experiments in wind erosion materials and combat desertification in the Department of Desertification Control Techniques, due to the difficulty of implementing these experiments in sites exposed to conditions of air erosion with the possibility of changing parameters by changing soil type and wind speed, studying the foundations of erosion and examining the effectiveness of means of resistance. With the possibility of photographing and following up the processes being studied.
