A technical master’s thesis was discussed in the College of Agricultural Technology specializing in animal production techniques tagged: – (The effect of enhancing the immune status by adding turmeric powder on the productive performance of Awassi sheep)
The thesis presented by the postgraduate student, “Ahmed Abdel-Mohsen Qasem,” was examined, indicating that the addition of turmeric led to a significant improvement in the amount of colostrum and milk production during the first month of milk production.
And knowing the effect of using different percentages of turmeric powder in the diets of goats and cows and its impact on productive and physiological performance.
Conducting studies on the effect of adding turmeric powder on the reproductive performance of rams (semen characteristics).
The message showed:-
– Studying the effect of adding turmeric powder in limiting or reducing heat stress and its reflection on productive performance.
– Studying the effect of adding turmeric powder in reducing metabolic stress and its relationship to improving production.
– The addition of turmeric led to a significant improvement in the amount of colostrum and milk production during the first month of milk production.
– There is no clear effect of adding turmeric in milk components.
After the student defended his thesis and had it discussed by the committee, his thesis was accepted with distinction.
