With the support of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Technology, Professor Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, Assistant Professor Dr. Hisham Hashim Mohammed, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the College, achieved a distinguished research accomplishment as part of a joint research team with researchers from the University of Nineveh. This achievement was the publication of a scientific paper in the International Journal of Intelligent Engineering and Systems, indexed in Scopus (Q2).

• The research focused on developing an intelligent system for diagnosing and classifying brain tumors using artificial intelligence and edge computing techniques, achieving 97% accuracy through an advanced, lightweight model suitable for modern medical systems.
